Germany is not as well known a travel destination from New Zealand as other countries. Many travel providers are very familiar with Australia, the USA, the UK. Many cities are also well known, cities such as Singapore , Hong Kong, Los Angeles, London, even Paris, Rome.
 
The cities of Cologne, Düsseldorf and Munich are not so well known in New Zealand. But they are well known to us!
 
Most travellers from New Zealand combine their visit to a trade fair with other travel - could be further business, could be a holiday.

We can give you advice on how to get to where you want to go, or maybe you want to ask us for suggestions of what you could do before or after a fair.
 
In this electronic age, it is certainly easy to book yourself from Point A to Point B, or book a hotel room from a website.

But is this enough; is this the best option for you?

• Do you know if your trade fair entrance ticket will entitle you to free use of the local public transport?
• Would you know if there is a bus from the airport direct to the fairground which saves you going into the city and then out again
• A hotel might look OK on their website but is it really?
• Is the website you are booking (and paying) on reliable?
• Is a hotelship or a private apartment a better option than a hotel during the fair?
• What is the best way to get to the fairground from your accommodation?
